Elusively 2007’s sand in the hour glass is draining faster and faster and faster.

Can you believe that there are only 100 days left in 2007?
I’d like to challenge you.

But first let me ask you a question,

Have you ever watched a football team do what is called the “2 Minute Drill?”.

They do this because in Pro Football there is a “2 Minute WARNING” before the end of the half and the end of the game.

What’s amazing is there are a Ton of points scored during the final 2 minutes. Here’s why.

The end is made very evident and the team focuses on achieving their goal before the end.

Of course there’s practice etc… BUT, the almighty unchangeable looming DEADLINE is really what creates the focus.

I’d like to give you a 100 day challenge.

Refocus your efforts and accomplish more in the last 100 days of this magnificent year than you did in the first 100 days.

Lloyd Irvin And The Secret!

Everyone has heard about the hit movie called THE SECRET! And if you’ve seen the movie then you’ve seen my buddy David before. But what most people dont know is the The Secret is REAL!

This weekend I was at an event hosted by Dan Kennedy hanging out with some of my mastermind buddies having a great time. We were all sitting at a table late friday night telling our stories about how everyone became millionaires.

The entire event was focused around what Dan Kennedy calls “THE PHENOMENON”. How you can make more money in 12 months then you’ve done in the previous 12 years. Some people may laugh but for us it’s very true. People have heard me talking about experiencing The Phenomenon before. I know it to be a REAL thing and so did the people sitting at the table with me.

The sad part is that technically it’s simple. But so many people just don’t get it. For one you must stay plugged into other successful people. It simply amazes me to hear people tell me about all of their financial problems that they are having with their business and dealing with their business but won’t even attend a single chapter meeting.

This weekend I know some of you are joining me in Chicago for The System Internet Marketing Seminar. I will be speaking there personally. People pay me alot of money to get business, marketing and financial advise, many of them are from all over the World and it’s crazy that business owners in my own back yard come up with excuse after excuse why they can’t do this, or why they can’t do that.

Dan Kennedy told me something that sums it up all together. It’s funny how he has a way to say things that make everything more clear.

He said ” If you hang out with a highly successful person for 7 days, 24 hours a day looking at what they do each and every day you’ll quickly discover why they are so successful, on the other hand if you hang out with a non successful person for 7 days, 24 hours a day looking at what they do each and every day you’ll quickly discover why they are well “non successful”

It made me laugh because one of my good friends named Don came over to my house the other day while we were working. He left saying “man you don’t even have no time to chill and hang out, I’m outta here”, he then went on to call one of our mutal friends and told him “man I just left Lloyd’s house and it’s like wall street over there, I’m not ever going back over there when they are working, all they do is work” LOL

Well he’s correct and incorrect. We don’t work all of the time. If you think about it people who work do at least 8 hours a day in the office. I may work 2-3 hours a day but my 2-3 hours are laser focused work that generates money. Most people in a 8 hour day waste lots of time being non productive.

The funny thing is that everone that was at the table used to be like that also but something changed. To many it’s a SECRET to what they did. Most will say that they had something that others didn’t, they had access to information or resources that weren’t available to them.

NOT SO

Tomorrow night at my next chapter meeting I’m going to be covering a few of the things that were talked about to help a person experience The Phenomenon.

Open Your Mind And Free Yourself!

I’m here in California helping one of my martial arts students get ready for his match in The Ultimate Fighting Championships this weekend. I’m starting to get nervous already. LOL So after a grueling training session we leave the gym to go back to the hotel. Once we get to the hotel we are met by a very large crowd of people wanting to take photos with us, so we take photos until everyone is happy, then it’s up to the room to shower and eat.

So a the table we are eating and everyone starts talking about marketing for their businesses. Of course everyone at the table besides my guys just think I’m a martial artist. So I’m sitting their listening to the discussion going on. They are talking about how unhappy they are with their business and marketing efforts. They talk about lots of different things, their websites, their marketing pieces etc.

Now I’m just sitting back eating my food listening with my ninja poker face on and I’m thinking to myself “these guys have businesses that could really be doing well if they just knew how to market properly”. But I don’t say anything because “FREE ADVICE” never does anyone any good. Then one of the guys says, “Hey Lloyd, I hear you do really good with marketing” I looked up with my ninja face and before I could say anything, Brandon Vera said “Yeah he does but he gets paid BIG BUCKS for giving that type of advise”. Then there was a silence over the table, they we’re looking at me, I was looking at them, then I just laughed and continued eating.

Then I made a HUGE MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took one more bite of my lobster, put my silverware on the table, cleared my throat and said “We’ll I think that you should blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah……..” The guy looked at me and said……………. Get ready for this “Yeah that sounds good but THAT WOULD NEVER WORK FOR MY BUSINESS” My marketing ninja reflexes wanted to jump over the table to free him from his closed mind but I couldn’t be upset because that’s what most business owner think. And that’s why most business owners are struggling.

“Industry Norms Equal Industry Results”

Now granted I get paid extremely well to help people with their marketing and that’s if I decide to do it. Which I often turn people down. I get paid anywhere from $12,000-$20,000 to consult with a business on the things I was getting ready to talk about at the table for free last night. In these situations I usually just sit back and listen, but for some reason I broke my rule and wanted to help this guy. Only to be reminded why I usually stay quiet.

But once a month people in my local area do have a chance to hear me speak about marketing without having to write me a “BIG FAT CHECK”. And that’s by attending my monthly Glazier Kenndey Chapter Meetings. For those that attended my very first on you’ll remember that I had some HUGE banners hanging around the room. Guess what one of them said.

Yeap, you guessed it “But Lloyd, My Business Is Different”.

Now if you think like this let me give you a BIG NINJA CHOP, YOUR BUSINESS IS NOT DIFFERENT!!! Our style of marketing IS working in your industry and over 185 different industries in the country. Our style of marketing IS Different then what most people in your industry are doing. And EVERYONE that is using our style of marketing IS making more money then what is the norm of that industry.

But if you want to continue with the negative attitude and thought that your business is different. By all means continue getting the results that you’re getting.

That reminds me of an email that I got from a young lady who was beggin me to help her market her business, her business was going down hill at lightning speeds and wanted to see if I could save it. Well I invited her to my last Chapter Meeting so I could introduce her to our style of marketing and guess what she told me?

She said she would love to but the meeting was to far for her to come to. Let me point out that she lives 40 minutes from where I was holding the meeting.

I just had my Glazier Kennedy VIP Meeting this past week and one of the guys in my mastermind team is from Australia. It took him over a day to get to America to network with us. At the Info Summit we recently attended we had people from 15 different countries travel to learn how to improve their businesses.

Now I’m not showing you this to brag about how much money people pay me to teach them marketing. I’m using this as an example of a EXTREMELY important point. People pay me very large sums of money, travel great distances and have to take sometimes days away from their business to meet with me. Just in case you didn’t know, I never visit my clients, they all come to me in Maryland.

Now here’s the point, and you might want to take careful note on this topic. This lady wouldn’t drive 40 minutes to meet with me for free about learning our style of marketing to save her failing business.

Do you see something wrong with this picture? I sure do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway I have to go with Brandon to do a interview on Direct TV for the fights this weekend. Being Around Millionaires This Weekend In Atlanta……..

Being Around Millionaires This Weekend… I’m just getting back and recovering from the Bill Glazier and Dan Kennedy Information Marketing Summit that was held in Atlanta November 1-4, 2006.

All I can say is “WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

If you’ve been around me enough, you already know how I feel about the “MASTERMIND” Principle. Being around, associating with, networking with, building business relationships with, building new joint venture deals and building powerful alliances with other ultra-successful people is like a dream come true.

Now back to my recent trip: We took a group of about 12 hungry entrepreneurs from the Metro area to the Info Summit this past weekend. This was the first major Marketing event for most of them and they would not be disappointed.

After day one, where Bill Glazier covered the A to Z Blueprint for starting an information marketing business, everyone that came with me realized what I had been trying to tell them for so long now.

They got to see person, after person, after person that had gone from an ordinary start to millionaire success in industry, after industry, after industry. The stories are simply amazing and most of it has to do with these people being members of Mastermind Groups.

***As a side note, I want to let everyone know that I’ve been accepted into Bill Glaziers highest, most elite tier Mastermind Group, “Info Mastermind,” for 2007. I’ve never been so happy to have the privilege to pay someone $20,000 LOL***

I’m pretty sure that this weekend I met someone whom I’m going to be able to work with to create a multi million dollar partnership. Think about this: just last week I didn’t even know who he was, and now, because I invested in going to Atlanta, I’m going to be starting a new business.

I also got some ideas that I’ve already started implementing in my existing businesses, and they are already showing signs of success.

Dude, thanks for staying on me and for strongly encouraging me to go to the info-summit last week. I can’t explain what happened, but it felt like my entire life changed during the last two days of the event. I thought about all the things I had done and accomplished (what I call “conservative risks”) and avoided doing in life because they were what I consider “aggressive risks” like the info business. I call it an aggressive risk because it forced me to think outside of everything I’d known up to that point; job, benefits, paycheck, some level of security. I never thought I would live to see the day that I would be dissatisfied with $90K annual salary, but I am. I’ve got a life plan and goals that I need to maintain and achieve right now and I can’t get there with this salary.

Sitting in a room with current and soon-to-be-millionaires can have an effect on you and I watched it happen a little bit each day. The reason it was so noticeable was for the fact that I was STILL skeptical for the Wednesday and Thursday session, but something clicked on Friday morning, can’t put my finger on what happened. I think it was when I realized that I was looking to hear from someone in that room that they had taken a chance on the system and it didn’t work for them and I didn’t find anyone to confirm that fear. What I found were people that took a chance, were pleased with the results, and wanted to do more with it. I also thought about what my boss said to me the Monday before I drove down to Atlanta. He said when it comes to an area where I’m not very comfortable due to lack of knowledge I lack confidence and look for reassurance before I move forward. He said that he’d rather I just move out, F up repeatedly (if necessary) and learn from those mistakes than being hesitant and playing it safe. Those words were kicking me in the azz on Thursday evening and it came together on Friday.

I know I’ve said this before, but I’ve got it this time. No promises or anything like that, the results will speak for themselves.

Just wanted to say thanks. I’ve personally seen you go from walking while living with your mother, to driving a honda prelude while living at Capital Crossing, to you becoming a multi millionaire with autonomy. I wish that I would’ve listened to you earlier but everyone has their time. And my time is now. You’ll see.

“The Simple ‘Secret’ For Growing Your Profits”

Is your business in a funk?

Are you having a hard time staying MOTIVATED?

Do you sometimes feel like you just want to throw up your hands and GIVE UP?

Well, it’s time to change all of that…

Because I want to share a little secret with you. One that can dramatically change your thinking, inspire you to take your business to entirely new levels, and completely transform your life.

Your mind is STARVING for something and you don’t even know it…

What you truly need is simple. It’s something I call the “WTRW” factor. (I’ll explain it in a moment.)

Okay, by now you’re probably thinking I’m out of my mind. But try and stay with me on this. It’s an extremely valuable process.

Do you realize that your brain works best when it receives NEW stimulation? Yes, the keyword here is “new.”

Well, your business (and how your mind runs it) works the same way. Unless you are exposing your brain to new stimulation in relation to your business, your business is not going to go anywhere. You will end up in a “profit rut” and maybe not even get a new business off the ground.

If you’re trying to get your first business up and running and making the type of income you want, then what you are about to learn can really help you succeed.

If you already have a successful business, but you want to take it to another level, then you also need to pay close attention.

WTRW stands for “Wow! This Really Works!”

It’s what I consider a “validator.” It confirms with your brain that results that you’ve just achieved for your business are contributing to the “Master Plan” you have for what you wish to achieve. The more WTRW moments you produce, the more PROGRESS you make for your business, and the faster it will GROW.

Let me give you an example…

Let’s say you need more traffic to one of your Web sites. You’re already using Google AdWords and Overture. You’re already doing some joint ventures, writing articles, and even doing a little search engine optimization.

But you want more traffic. (Leads)

So you put in some time and find some NEW places online where you can advertise whatever it is you have to sell. Maybe it’s a PPC search engine that you’ve never tested before. Maybe it’s buying some banner ads on a site somewhere. Maybe it’s advertising in someone’s ezine.

When you place an ad in one of these NEW places, and you start to generate traffic like you wanted, something very POWERFUL happens with your brain…

You have a WTRW moment. Your results validate that the process works and you have just taken a tiny step to improve your business. Yet what you just did isn’t just a tiny step…

It’s EXACTLY what your brain needed to “shift into another gear.”

If you were to go out and test some new ad sources that you’ve never tested before, and if you’re able to start driving some new leads to one of your sites, what do you think this is going to do to you?

You’re going to get excited. You’re going to be happy. You’re going to feel great about doing something that helped your business. And THIS one thing is going to motivate, inspire, and encourage you to go and try some other things. Test more ad sources. Test copy changes. Test new offers.

Do you notice a consistent word here? “TEST.”

Testing is the foundation of marketing. You try stuff. You throw it at the wall. You see if it sticks. If it doesn’t, who cares, don’t ever do it again. If it DOES, you just got an instant PAY RAISE and now you’re making more money.

You test a new version of your sales letter. You see if it outperforms the old one. You test some new copy for one of your AdWords ads. You see if it will pull a higher click-through rate and lower your ad costs.

It is CRITICAL that you constantly test NEW THINGS for your business. Don’t just get stuck in a rut of doing the same old thing. Unless you stimulate your brain with NEW RESULTS from one of your marketing tests, your brain isn’t going to start firing on all cylinders and inspiring you to run other tests, make other changes, and do other things to grow your business so you can make your money.

If you’re just starting a new business or project, let me tell you what WTRW moment will have the greatest impact on you and accelerate the amount of money you will make…

Earning your first dollar.

Not $100. Not $1,000. Just ONE LOUSY BUCK.

Because if you can do whatever it takes to earn that $1 of profit, you’ve figured out 90% of what it takes to get rich. And when you achieve that moment, your brain will validate it and you’ll know that the process REALLY WORKS.

The KEY to growing your business lies within your ability to continue testing new things and getting fresh, NEW results for your brain to digest. So take a few minutes out of each week and test some new things. Go crazy. Think outside the box. Do something completely different.

You just wait and see what happens. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Uncover The Hidden Assets $$$ In Yourself And Your Business

The reality is most people and businesses have accumulated assets, often well hidden from common view. The trick of course is recognising their value. I’ll give you some examples:

Platinum Plus Members Tom and Wendy Brown’s difficulty in having a child and their subsequent solution, 2 healthy children, has proved to be a VERY healthy hidden $$$ asset. In this case, something they know that lots of other couples who aspire to have children desperately want to know.

You see, what first appeared to be a heart-breaking issue has ultimately become an information product that others who are suffering the same consequence are more than happy to pay for their knowledge.

Another Platinum Plus Member comes to mind… Dr Fred Thompson. Fred is a chiropractor who understood very early in the piece that there was no money in chiropractic, all the money was in the marketing of the chiropractic. And as it turns out his marketing system which breaks all the rules (norms) performed by his industry when it comes to getting, keeping and servicing a client have proven very valuable to his peers… because now they pay him for his system.

Another Platinum Plus Member Steven Russ runs a very successful wellness practice providing all number of services. Again, Wayne has developed a system for what he does and now teaches other practitioners how to do the same via seminars and product sales. Wayne has turned what he knows into an information business that other practioners pay him handsomely for. Years ago I had a printer come and ask if he could “Do my printing for me?” My reply was, “How much are you prepared to pay to do my printing?” Of course, he was astonished by this comment. When he recovered, I explained. It went something like this… “I spend roughly $200,000 a year on printing. How much would you pay me if I guaranteed you all my work, all the $200,000 worth of printing for next year? What part of the $200,000 will you pay me in advance to do what I’d be doing anyway?” My offer of course came with a small caveat that satisfied his concerns, and that was “I’ll guarantee I’ll do at least $200,000 worth of printing with you next year, and if I don’t I’ll refund some part of your money pro rata based on what I do spend.”

After recovering from the initial shock and stating that he usually just offers to do people’s printing at a better price, improved quality or simply comparable price and/or quality, but on this occasion he asked me how much I’d want. I replied “$30,000 up front.” Ultimately he said he needed to get back to me, and here’s what he said when he did… “I’ll pay you $20,000 for 2 years.” Obviously it worked. $20,000 up front is akin to making money out of thin air from a process, in this case, printing, that I’d do anyway. Ultimately, I didn’t do the deal. You see, money isn’t everything, I’m a loyal so and so. But it was great fun.

Anyway, what hidden assets $$$ can you explore in your business and turn into wealth? What do you know, what do you do that people would pay you for that you’ve never considered? Best regards
